sunny day (2005-01-24 - 7:42 p.m.)

Sunday was awesome. I went to Fringe's show (starring Molly B., Olivia A., Claire, and Kali). I hung out with an old friend who I once I had a crush on, this really emo sophmore named Stevens, who I called Chocolate. He was one of my best friends all through middle school.

Then Olivia called me up on stage to dance. I went up with like five other people. It was "Twist and Shout." Awesome. When I came back down Chocolate said, "Wow, you looked so good up there."
It made me blush, and a hot satisfaction radiated from my stomach. Because I was sure I looked like an IDIOT!

So then, I went and sat down next to Fringe this morning, and Olivia said, "We watched the video afterwards, and we were all like, 'Look at Annie go! She looks so good!'"
I blushed like an idiot.
"Really?"
"Yeah. Everyone else was all jumping around and you were dancing all pretty."

So I shouldn't be so self-concious. But I should be modest.

Today was a very good day. I feel like I've woken up from a long, awful dream. I traced my vision along the silhouettes of trees, and closed my eyes against the the sun so I could feel the heat. I laughed and touched. I listened to Queen. (Joel doesn't like Queen, how could I have ever dated him?)
